The FRPA Young Professionals Workgroup has identified mentorship as something they would like to prioritize . Creating and cultivating relationships with those further along in their careers help young professionals grow. FRPA PODS are intended to be a way to link these two groups for the outcome of connection, mentorship, fellowship, and guidance. Each POD will be a small group, no more than six people, and will consist of one or two mentors and the rest of the group will be made up of young professionals.

Difficult Conversations: Thursday April 14th @ 9am
Introducing our next Young Professionals Chat with Directors: Difficult Conversations. We have gathered some directors to sit and talk with you about some of the times they have had to have hard conversations or deal with hard issues with staff. Whether you're a new supervisor, need some encouragement, or want to prepare for future roles, join us as we talk about this topic based on real experiences and scenarios. Registration is free. You are encouraged to submit questions or specific scenarios you'd like feedback on once you register.
If you yourself aren't *quite* a young professional, please consider forwarding this to someone who is, and encouraging them to get involved.
